Daughter of Stephen Fink, Meghan carries on her father’s tradition of giving back to Pasadena. She owns & operates PSC, creating a hub for the community where everyone feels welcome. She co-founded “S.A.M.” & coordinates everything from the food to the donations and community outreach.

STEVEN LAWHORN

Fire Fighter, Pasadena Fire Dept.
Steven is an active 24-year veteran of the Pasadena Fire Department and friend of former Pasadena Sandwich Company owner, Stephen E. Fink. Steve co-founded the "SAM" Program with Meghan and has spent the last three years assisting with the logistics and coordination efforts of the event.

Kaytee developed a huge heart for giving back to community. She continues with her brother & sisters the legacy of her beloved father as part of the S.A.M. team. She believes there is transformation of community health through individual healing, and through the experience of nourishing, wholesome family oriented community events!

NICOLE FINK

As with Fink family tradition, Nicole loves to give back to the community and be a part of her father’s legacy through the Thanksgiving Share a Meal event. Part of the Pasadena Sandwich Company family, Nicole spends her time raising her daughter, Ellie, and working as a cosmetologist.

JON FINK

Jon, son of Stephen Fink, is part of the Pasadena Sandwich Company family and spends his days sending out slices of heaven to the Pasadena community. When he’s not running PSC, Jon spends his time outdoors, hiking or surfing. On Thanksgiving, Jon is cooking up a feast & managing the kitchen making sure it is a safe place for everyone.

As community advocate with PUSD, Socorro leads the Pasadena FIT program, which helps families who are in need by providing support. Serving as a compassionate & understanding resource for those less fortunate, FIT helps these families find their way to personal and academic success. Socorro selects the families attending S.A.M.

Diane, wife of Co-Founder
Steven Lawhorn, supervises the Kindergarten Yard at El Oro Way Elementary, helps third graders in the BURST Programs one-on-one instructing, and with her calm & caring demeanor, has an incredible way of making our new volunteer friends and families feel at ease.

MARTHA JIMENEZ

Pasadena Families in Transition
Working along side of Socorro, Martha supports the Pasadena FIT program. She is responsible for making sure every child is prepared for school, with clothing and school supplies, and is also in charge of giving these children access to the PUSD school lunch program. For the Share a Meal event, Martha coordinates registration for all of the families.

Ann brings her heart to serve and give back to the team, as well as her marketing expertise. An invaluable member of the team, Ann also does pro bono work for other organizations giving back to the community, including Sydney Paige, Inc.

MYLENE TAM
IT Analyst - DoIT,
City of Pasadena
Mylene manages applications for the Pasadena Fire Department. She has over twenty-five years of experience working with computers, providing technical support and training to staff members. She brings her technical expertise to the S.A.M. committee and enjoys giving back to the community anyway she can.
ROBIN COX
Founder & Executive Director,
Remainders Creative Reuse
Robin is a prolific artist in mixed media and brings over 20 years of experience in Art Education to Remainders. Her extensive knowledge of interior space planning and retail merchandising comes from having been an integral member of a successful family design business. She teaches at Options for Youth Independent Study and Academic Recovery program and the Armory for the Arts teen program at Artworks, in Pasadena. Robin is very active in women's arts organizations throughout LA County and passionate about bringing art activity to all members of the Pasadena community.
